Let’s have dinner and talk.’ I thanked him for the invitation but told him I must return to the land of Mahaprabhu,” he said, referring to Lord Jagannath, the deity of the iconic Puri temple.

Trump, however, later claimed credit for the peace efforts, stating, “I stopped the war between Pakistan and India.” Modi, without directly addressing the remark, reiterated that India’s progress stems from good governance, not external intervention.
